For those looking to explore clay without attending a formal studio class or access to basic materials - this is for you! Whether as a meditative practice to unwind, a carve out for some creativity, to create a handmade gift or keepsake, to connect during date nights, events or vacation, or for anyone interested in creating a fully fired and functional piece.
What’s included in cost: Each kit contains 1 lb of recycled stoneware (not air-dry) clay, some basic tools, and a guide published by me. Each kit will include some personalized items depending on your goals or special occasion, if any. Also included is firing x2 and glaze. Add-ons available (see below). At the end, you will have a fully fired and food safe item to gift or keep.
How it works: You pick up or I drop off your kit(s). You can take your time with your piece. When it’s done and you’re ready to have your piece fired, you drop it off or I pick up. I will then fire your piece, glaze (clear top glaze), and fire your piece again, and and return your completed project to you via drop off (if in Camarillo or Ventura) or shipping. Please allow 4-6 weeks to receive your piece after you return it to me.
Add-ons: underglaze palette and brushes. For adding color and design to your piece.
Kit pick up and drop of is free in Camarillo and Ventura. If you are beyond that area and need assistance, I will work with you to deliver your kit by hand at a fee. Once I receive your order, I will email you to discuss.
